Eian reached 28 months old in August 2014.

In month of August he learned to read and spelling for english  and word recognisation for mandarin character.

To teach 2yrs old in reading and word recognisation is not easy, I have use not only books or readers or flash card, i have to implement art-to-do and activities as well to enchance his learning.

He learn: cat, rat, mat, hat, jam, sat, can, ran

He spell: cat, mat, hat as well as his own name EIAN

He recognised: 大小多少上下开关前后

 

As our mother tounge is mandarin, not a big problem in recognising mandarin words character. I just used the "比一比" book for repeating revise.

 

For reading, very hard to ask a 2yrs old sit down and read. What i have to do..... read the book for him as story telling. Than will ask him to read the flash card and match with the picture. Once introduce the new words, the next lesson we will do some activities like art-to-do and revise the words he learned in a game activity.

 

 That's all we do ~! Play, Learn than we have Fun with what we learn.....
